Brambus is very proud to offer yet another album with songs of our Irish songwriter BRENDAN MONAGHAN, filling up the first half dozen of contemporary songs from the green island.

“unbroken” is a collection of songs written by Brendan Monaghan over the last few years since the release of his most recent Brambus release “today is a good day”.

The song themes cover such feelings and emotions as love, faith, belief one’s self and nostalgia. These songs mainly written while travelling to shows between city to city, country to country. Everyday stories that people can relate to in one way or another, touching the heart and the soul.

Brambus freut sich über ein weiteres Album des irischen Singer-Songwriter BRENDAN MONAGHAN, der damit sein erstes halbes Dutzend für Brambus mit zeitgenössischen Songs von der grünen Insel Irland füllt.

"unbroken" ist eine Sammlung von Songs, die Brendan Monaghan in den zwei Jahren seit dem Erscheinen seines letzten Albums, "today is a good day", geschrieben hat.
Die Songs handeln von Gefühlen wie Liebe, Glaube, Glaube an sich selbst, sowie Nostalgie. Geschrieben wurden die Songs während Brendans Reisen von Konzert zu Konzert in verschiedenen Städten und Ländern dieser Welt. “today is a good day” is Brendan Monaghan’s fifth release on Brambus Records. The album is a collection of songs reflecting on the emotions of love, loss, faith and belonging. From the up tempo track “the girl from Westmeath” to the moving ballad “mother” to the hopeful title track “today is a good day” the moods and tempos vary as the album progresses on its journey.
Brendan Monaghan is one of the finest songwriters from the Belfast area in Northern Ireland. Since his early years with "The Cattle Company" he wrote songs that match perfectly in the Irish tradition and he constantly tours to develop his fan base.

Brambus is proud to celebrate its 25th anniversary with another, yet the 4th release of northern ireland songwriter Brendan Monaghan. “Lovers Always Win” is a remixed retrospective album release, featuring the very best of Brendan Monaghan’s early work. Brendan Monaghan ist ein irischer Singer/Songwriter und lebt ausserhalb von Belfast. Er spielt in

We are pleased to have another Irish artist on the label! BRENDAN MONAGHAN has
released two albums before on Dutch label Roxon. This is his first step into the Brambus
singer-songwriter world and we are very pleased to welcome him in our roster!

Brendan Monaghan is an Irish singer songwriter, living outside of Belfast. He performs his
material at home and in many different countries around the world, either solo or in a
small line-up, or more uptempo with a full band. Brendan has shared the same bill as
many top international artists. He has received very enthusiastic reviews for his music as
he continues to progress in his art form.

“flicker of hope” ist das vierte Soloalbum von singer/songwriter Brendan Monaghan und sein zweites Werk für Brambus. Mit dieser Veröffentlichung kehrt Monaghan vermehrt zum erdig-keltischen Klang seiner früheren Alben zurück - mit dem fesselnden Titelsong „flicker of hope“, dem Marsch-Stück „after the rain“, dem gälischen Lied “fá do choinne” (for you) und dem jig/reel “am bainne“ (milk time).

"flicker of hope" is Irish singer/songwriter Brendan Monaghan's fourth solo album and his second for brambus. This release sees Monaghan return to the more earthy Celtic sound of his earlier albums.

With the haunting title track "flicker of hope", the march time stomp "after the rain", the Gaelic vocal piece "fá do choinne" (for you) and the jig/reel "am bainne" (milk time). The uptempo opening track "miss those days" is story of growing up, innocence and dreams. "flicker of hope" contains Monaghan's usual strong mix of emotions, love, faith, loneliness and passion. This album is an album of hope during times of uncertainty.

Brendan Monaghan performs his material at home and in many different countries around the world. Monaghan has shared the same bill as many top international artists and has written material for several recording artists. The singer songwriter's release in the early part of 2012 a five track EP titled "I love how you love me" achieved a number one position on the international Celtic Music Charts. Irish journalist and RTE radio presenter John O' Regan says " Brendan Monaghan's music evokes the best elements of classic folk rock, singer songwriter artistry and Irish folk sensibilities in an attractive, listenable package".

"Never too late too come home" is the Irish singer songwriters' third release for Brambus Records. This album sees Monaghan continue his songwriting with his usual emotion, passion and catchy melodies as he covers many different aspects of life.
The material on the new album just like his previous Brambus releases "look no further" and "flicker of hope" follow the same contemporary roots path with an Irish traditional music feel running through.
