Hunter Moore hat sich viel Zeit für sein zweites Album für Brambus Records gelassen, und es hat sich gelohnt: "Conversations" ist ein ausgereiftes Meisterwerk geworden! Songs mit starkem Tiefgang, die auch nach mehrmaligem Anhören nicht verleiden! Songs voll Engagement und Feuer, inspiriert vom populären amerikanischen Poeten Robert Frost, dessen Buch "North Of Boston" voll von Gedichten ist, die hauptsächlich Gespräche beinhalten. Den ersten Song für dieses Album hat Hunter Moore bereits vor vier Jahren geschrieben, als das Vorgängerwerk "Delta Moon" vorgestellt wurde. Und das Konzept der "Conversation-Songs" wurde weitergeführt: Gespräche von beiden Seiten oder alleine, so als ob man diese einem Zuhörer erzählt. Die musikalische Herausforderung bestand zudem darin, dass in Gesprächen keine Chorusse bestehen und der Song daher mit anderen Mitteln mitreissend und zugänglich gestaltet werden musste. Hunter Moore setzte diese Gedanken und Pläne in faszinierenden Songs packend um, sorgte für angenehme Arrangements, ohne dabei die Songs zu überladen. Das Projekt ist hervorragend gelungen und ein absolut würdiger Nachfolger für das noch immer wunderschöne Werk "Delta Moon"! Hunter Moore wird im Oktober 2001 seine zwei Alben im Rahmen einer Konzertreihe "live" in Mitteleuropa vorstellen, Daten folgen in Kürze!

This is Hunter Moores second masterpiece for Brambus Records and he spend nearly four years getting it together the way he wanted it! To pass on his thoughts and ideas of the album, we use his own quotes as liner notes to the production: It is inspired by the poetry of popular American poet Robert Frost. His book "North of Boston" is made up of poems that are mainly conversations. I wrote the first song for the project "Conversations" four years ago while promoting "Delta Moon". I began thinking about how I might write a number of songs that would be conversations, either both sides or only one side (as told to a listener). Since conversations don't have choruses, part of the challenge was to write songs that worked without choruses which may be why the songs seem less catchy on the initial listen. I've had very strong positive reactions for "Conversations" in live settings and though this album is different for me and in general, I think ultimately that distinctive work can (if it's good) create a following for a particular artist - And the album came out fantastic, we are really pleased to have it on brambus and be able to offer it to you and your friends.
