Very welcome in the brambus-family of excellent songwriters to Kate McDonnell! Not a new person in the business! No, Kate McDonnell has been active in the US songwriter scene since many years and released two excellent albums on the label of our friends from Waterbug Records! But her new production "Don't Get Me Started" goes a strong step further and surprises with very intense and strong songs as much as with her great voice and spectacular guitar playing. Produced by Scott Petito and with the right studio musicians, she gives her songs the perfect touch and creates an album full of intensity and surprises. Nine of eleven songs are selfpenned by Kate McDonnell and a "hidden track" at the end documents the pleasure of working in the studio and having a family in the back. Kate McDonnell has found good acceptance in Europe with several short tours over the past few years. This new production will get her a step further, and who knows, maybe the bomb in her hands on the cover will explode at the right time!
