Waxies Dargle are well established on the London Irish pub circuit, and find an appreciative audience for their music throughout Europe. The three men and one woman band is stepping ahead in the history of Irish Folk. They're certainly a slick unit, excelling throughout on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass exchanges. They also feature a couple of fine vocalists, who exude a classy delivery that's two parts Dubliner and one part old Dublin City Ramblers. Their recordings are superbly produced, richly rewarding collections of by an impressive act who play Irish music with authority and spirit.
