TONI SPEARMAN ist in der europäischen und amerikanischen seit vielen Jahren ein Begriff. Die ausdrucksstarke Sängerin mit der tiefen Stimme stammt aus South Carolina und lebt jetzt teilweise in München. Mit einer soliden Bluesband im Rücken überzeugt sie auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks, wobei in den USA meist auf die gleiche Begleitband zurückgegriffen wird, die auch mit den „Temptations“ tourt!

TONI SPEARMAN bringt Blues in allen Schattierungen, am liebsten mit einem Schuss Rock und Soul gewürzt, voll instrumentiert und teils sogar mit eigenen Bläsersätzen. Bekannt geworden ist sie nicht nur mit ihren eigenen Live-Auftritten, sondern auch mit ihren Gastauftritten bei Blues-Grössen wie Luther Allison, Louisiana Red und hat mir ihrer eigenen Band auch schon grosse Konzertabende von B.B. King oder den Blues Brothers eröffnet.

Ihr neues Album – gleichzeitig ihr Debut bei Brambus – bietet energievollen Blues-Rock mit Abstechern in Richtung Rock und Soul und beinhaltet einige Eigenkompositionen, aber auch richtungsweisende Covernummern, die zum Teil auch aus der Feder ihres Mentors B.B. King stammen.

TONI SPEARMAN is well established in the European an American blues scene. The expressive (female) singer with the deep voice grew up in South Carolina and lives now partly near Munich (Germany). She amazes with a solid blues band in her back on both sides of the atlantic and often uses in the USA the same backing band as the “Temptations”.

TONI SPEARMAN brings blues with all sidesteps, she loves to combine it with a bit of rock and soul, fully arranged and even using a horn sections from time to time. She became famous for her own live appearances, but also worked extensively as guest artists with blues giants as Luther Allison or Louisiana Red. She has also opened big concert events with her band for B.B. King or the Blues Brothers.

Her new album – her debut with Brambus – offers a powerful and dynamic blues with a lot of soul and a bit of rock. She found an excellent mixture of self penned blues tracks and great covers, including some of her mentor B.B.King. As a constantly touring live-act, TONI SPEARMAN will backup the release of the new album with a good number of concerts. Dates should follow soon.
